About the Community

229 Breaking is more than a platform; it’s a bridge connecting dancers, talents, and opportunities in Benin. As the only breaking community of its kind in the city, we carry the hopes of a growing hip-hop culture and the next generation of Beninese breakers. We create space for dancers to connect, showcase their skills, learn from one another, and grow together. United by breaking, we’re building a foundation for the culture to thrive, creating opportunities today and inspiring the dancers who will shape its future.
