About the Community
Kuza Dance Academy is a dance community born in Mombasa, Kenya, built around one simple idea: dance can bring people together, create opportunities, and change lives. Kuza means growth and that’s exactly what we’re building: people, talent, confidence and community through dance. What started with a passion for dance has grown into a diverse community where kids, young people, and adults can learn, express themselves, build confidence, and connect through movement. We explore different styles from Afro, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba to contemporary, Zumba and choreography.
