Tanzania Skateboarding Initiative is a community organisation based in Dodoma, Tanzania, dedicated to making skateboarding accessible to everyone. We use skateboarding to empower children from low-income families and street-connected youth, creating opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging. For us, skateboarding is more than a sport—it’s a way to give back, support vulnerable young people, and create brighter futures. Our mission is to grow Tanzania’s skateboarding culture while building a stronger, more inclusive community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
